I was inside my room waiting for someone to call me when the priest asks, Eyes closed. I was resting because this week has been too tiring for me. From shopping to designing to making arrangements. Everything tired me out. 

I yawned,wanting to sleep but couldn’t. I am still recovering from the fact that it's actually my wedding day. And next month I am graduating. I sipped on water making myself stay wide awake. Glancing at myself, I looked beautiful. The work done by the artists and this bridal lehenga were doing their best job. 

Soon I will be a married woman, Maa, Baba. I wish you guys were here to celebrate my day with me. How maa would be so happy to get me ready herself and how baba would be freaking out when giving his only princess’s hand to someone else. I might never be able to experience it. Never! 

A tear escaped my left eye and I wiped it off quickly. I came out of my thoughts when I heard a knock on my door, it must be someone calling me out. “Come in” I said as someone.

I turned back “V!” I almost shouted while seeing him enter my room, as per the rituals it's not allowed to meet each other before the wedding. “You know it's not right” He didn't say anything and came towards me smiling, this guy. 

“Why are you not speaking anything now?” I asked my brows twitching. “You look beautiful” He said while brushing his fingers on my hairs which were open. “Mhm” I hummed.

“Someone might come, go or it will be a problem” I said while he sniffed my hair. “I will, you are right I must leave before someone comes but before that let me do what I came here for” He answered, his hands brushing my face softly making me close my eyes and humming to him in response. 

Few seconds later, I still had my eyes closed and let him admire me. After all I am all his. And after sometime I will officially be His. Something weird is happening in my heart, is it nervousness? 

“V” as I spoke I felt his palm on my mouth covering it, what is he even doing? Just a second later I felt something pressed on my chest and realizing what it was, my eyes wide opened. 

“V-v” My voice trembled as I saw that sinister look on his face while he placed the gun in my heart. My body shivered and my heart feared his next move. What is happening? Am I hallucinating because I am deprived of sleep?

“Shh!” He said as he played with my hair again, “what are you doing, don't play any games.” I said, trying to calm myself. 

“I was playing the game from the start, poor you never noticed anything.” He said with a chuckle and a predatory smile played on his lips. What the fuck is he saying, my body again trembled with fear. Not of the gun pointed at me but of his words. 

“Please say it's all a prank, and you are just playing with me. Please let's just go and perform our rituals.” I said as I tried to touch his face but he backed off while his gun always pointed at my chest.

“I never loved you let alone marry you, it was all a plan my little girl. And you know the best part, i never had to put any efforts from impressing you to asking you out.It was always you”  He said as he smiled continuously.

I know he is lying, I know he will chuckle and hug me and say I am sorry baby I didn't mean to scare you. I know, I know it's a lie. 

“You are lying aren't you? I know you love to pull pranks, but this isn't something to prank about, especially on the day we are going to get married.” I said with holding onto each single hope that was left.

“You believed my fake words, it's normal for you not to believe the real ones.” He chuckled again, “You gotta die today, rest in peace baby” He said as he pointed his gun at me.

A tear slipped my eyes and I wanted to wake up, I know it's a dream. He can't do this to me, he can't do this to his love.  He can't break me, no he wont. 

“You never loved me?” I asked my voice, “Ab kya khat likh ke du?” He said in an insulting tone. 

“Par hume toh pyaar ho gaya tha aapse Vihaan” I said, still wanting this to end as a prank.

But his next words didnt hurt me, it destroyed me and damaged me. 

“Kisne kaha tha karne ko” he said as I felt a piercing pain in my chest, blood vomit out of my mouth as I saw him leave. 

I looked down at my chest, he didn't shoot me at my heart but near it. I clutched on my chest and almost collapsed when someone barged in.
